Drawn to the authenticity of the building, Belford’s aims to incorporate the history of the space, and it’s city.

While in graduate school, at Savannah College of Art and Design, I chose Belford’s to work with for my thesis.

Largely inspired by it’s second owner, a whole sale grocer, Belford’s brand incorporates print advertisement, typography, and historic imagery drawn from city workers during the 1900’s.

The identity’s aim is to incorporate the down-to-earth roots of Belford’s authentic past with high-end fine dining.

Belford’s grocer is central to the graphic language connecting it’s audience with an historical authenticity.
